Give What You No Longer Use
Land, vehicles, old computer equipment, and monetary gifts sitting idle can become a garden, a lesson, or a working machine in someone’s hands. Osiris Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and every gift is tax deductible.
Three kinds of gift
Monetary Gift
A one-time or recurring gift keeps the lights on at the workshop and covers survey, towing, and wipe-and-rebuild costs for every other donation we receive. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your gift is tax deductible.
Land
Vacant lots and acreage become garden beds, greenhouses, and sites for solar and wind installs. We handle survey, title transfer, and closing costs, and turn blight into food.
Vehicles & Cars
Running or not, cars, trucks, and vans are picked up with free towing, then sold or put to work hauling donations and equipment. You'll receive a 1098-C for your records.
Computers & Tablets
Laptops, desktops, and tablets, working or not, are wiped to Department of Defense standard, rebuilt, and placed with students and job seekers at no cost to them.
Tax Deductible
What you’ll receive
Every gift to Osiris Ministries is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Here is exactly what happens after you give.
We Document the Gift
A volunteer records the item or property, its condition, and the date it was received or transferred into the ministry's name.
You Get a Written Receipt
Osiris Ministries, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit, issues a signed donation receipt naming the gift, and for vehicles and land, the required IRS acknowledgment.
Keep It for Tax Season
Your receipt is yours to keep for filing. Larger gifts of land or vehicles may need an independent appraisal, which we can point you toward.
